WHY IS READ AND RESCUE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CHARITIES?
Well, first and foremost, it's not a charity. It's a collaboration of authors who want to let the world know that certain books raise money for rescue groups that are near and dear to the author's heart.

You read that right. I'm not asking for money. Don't send me a dime. I don't need it, and I don't want it. What I do want is for you, the reader, to buy a book with the READ AND RESCUE logo on it. If you're an author, I want you to pledge a donation from your book(s) each fiscal year to a rescue group of your choice. That's it. No catch. I'm just an author/animal lover out looking for others who want to help save lives by doing what we love to do, and that is write.
